Stone Arch bridge and trail by St. Anthony

Friday after dinner, I was bored. Paul and Bethany are visiting and I wanted to go somewhere with them. Since there really isn't much to do what with COVID-19 still being an active preventer of organized entertainment, we decided to go for a walk on the Stone Arch bridge in Minneapolis.

The bridge from the St. Anthony side. Underneath the bridge is the Mississippi river.

I like the shadows, the color of the railing, the industrial look of the smokestacks right next to the greenery.

The Mill City ruins--we've been down there for Matt's senior pictures.

Jim and I didn't know about the Heritage trail that leads down from the street, but Paul did and we decided to take it.

An old bridge?

Cement blocks of indeterminate purpose except as graffiti canvasses

Is that Ariel in the background? And Bethany likes to be weird for the camera. Paul was being weird too up until the last minute.

Old architecture under the street.

The Stone Arch bridge

Looks like the Elsinore brewery from Strange Brew

The evening is creeping upon us.

There was a lot of graffiti, and I liked this message among all the others.

Like! I love the Mill City ruins and possible old Bridge. Bethany fits in if she likes to be weird for the camera.
