June is busting out all over with Ten Things
If I could, I'd break out into showtunes right now. Big, loud, bouncy, hippity hoppity, smiles-a-mile long, the whole chorus singing along type. Don't know why. Could be just because it didn't RAIN today.
Ten things about now:
1. One month and Paul is Paul no longer, but Elder Evans, version 2.0. Paul had an idea for his blog title, but I can't remember what it was. It just might end up being Peruvian Paul.
2. Hayley got a job. She's makin' burgers at Wendy's. She says her Spanish should improve over the summer since she works with several Spanish speakers.
3. Matt has a volunteer job at the library. He works 2 hours a week manning the summer reading program table. This job will effectively finish off several service requirements for several merit badges.
4. Now that seminary is over for the year, I'm trying to get up early anyway and exercise. I'm not as regular at it as I'd like to be, but I got up this morning and boy does it help maintain my equilibrium.
5. No letter from EJ this week. Don't know why. It's not transfer time.
6. #1 reminds me that July 13 (Saturday) probably afternoon we will have an open house type farewell for Elder Paul. Probably at my house. You are invited if you know where I live.
7. I bought 15 patterns at JoAnn's last Saturday at a buck a piece. A BUCK. (and taxes). For the price of one pattern, I got 15! The limit was 10, but in my first trip, I only got five. Then I realized that a good, no a GREAT deal like that cannot be passed up so I went to a different JoAnn's and bought 10. I suppose this means I have to start sewing. Hayley and Katie too, because some of the patterns I got are for them.
8. The patterns for Hayley are 1--a steampunk dress that I told her she should wear to prom next year, and 2--an elfish dress. I didn't get her any regular patterns because she can either get clothes at thrift stores or from her friends or from the interweb.
9. Jim and I are going to Florida (the Keys) in November for our 25th anniversary.
10. Yes, we have been married nearly 25 years.

I'm so envious of your upcoming trip to the Keys. Can I be a stowaway in one of your luggages? I promise I'll keep my distance and let you and Jim have your romantic vacation.
Very fun to plan a trip to the Keys! You'll enjoy yourself. There is a store there that sells Lilly Pulitzer fabric. It makes me weak. You also need to get the Key Lime Pie from...I'll have to get back to you on that.
Eat at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville and get a cheeseburger in paradise. Not because it is the most amazing thing ever, because there are Jimmy Buffet restaurants all over, but because it is the one in Key West.
