Still at the suspension bridge. I was up on a platform checking out the area, and the two girls had gone down the stairs. I watched them standing slightly apart, twisting back and forth, flinging their arms out at each other, acting like they were 8 years old instead of 35 and 28. I don't think they knew I was watching and taking pictures. I almost yelled, "Girls, leave each other alone. Quit bothering your sister!" but I refrained because I was pretty sure they weren't actually bothering each other.

Back on the suspension bridge because we wanted to visit the gift shop and get some food and souvenirs. |

Hayley off in the distance blocking the way for the rest of us |
So we had just a few minutes at the gift shop. I got some Canadian candy bars (you'll see pictures later) and Katie got some chili and a biscuit. I went into the other gift shop and purchased some post cards and stamps. I quickly wrote out the postcards to my sister and mother and stuffed them in the post office box at the entry station, where also was the stamp pad with the "passport stamp." It wasn't an official passport stamp, but it's a cool addition to my passport.
I sat down to wait for Katie to finish her souvenir shopping and Hayley had her bowl of chili, which she shared with me. I held onto it for a few bites, and then promptly spilled it all over myself. Sigh. It was good while it lasted. Fortunately the waterproof jacket and pants I was wearing didn't get stained. It dried quickly and then the food residue just rubbed off.
We were the last ones on the bus. I ran to the bus to make sure they wouldn't leave without us, and the bus driver had warned us that anyone who was late would have to sing for the whole bus, so when I got on, the other passengers teased me with "Where are your daughters?" I said I had to rush back to the bus to get there ahead of them so I could hear them sing when they got on late. The girls got on the bus with time to spare (just minutes) and people joked about them having to sing. Sadly though, no singing.

Deliciousness |

It says toffee, but it was just hard caramel |

I think Katie got these. They were gummy candy. |

The clouds made all the views more glorious |

See? the clouds! |

Raw nature with human efforts to not necessarily tame nature, but to make room for our own wills to move through it. |
After we left Canada, we stopped at Liarsville for and outdoor barbecue lunch. We enjoyed the buffet options. There was salmon and chicken and salad and beans and rice pilaf and tiny pickles!

While we were in the gift shop, one of the historical actors, came around shouting invitations to come to the show. None of us wanted to see the show, so we ignored her and wandered off to where the show was NOT happening and we found this picture vignette. |

Hayley was too short for the moose! I love her face in this photo! |

Relaxing |
If we had gone to the show, we would have had to leave early anyway because our bus was leaving.
