7 days and it's REALLY hard to be the first one to get up

ONE WEEK. I can hardly stand it!

Congratulations to a niece who got accepted to a great place to go to college (which is the same place EJ went for 2 semesters, and where he will return to in April most likely--we hope)! Since EJ and Niece could possibly cross paths, I suggested to my sister, Niece's mother, via text that EJ could possibly set Niece up with a couple of returned missionary friends. I think that would be great! My sister must think it's a great idea too, because she texted back a couple of exclamation points.

Dang, it was hard to get up today. Hayley and Matt got the day off school and seminary AGAIN because of the cold, and Jim didn't set his alarm. 6 a.m. came very early. I did not want to get up. It was frigid outside, the bed was warm and cuddly, my pillow was cushy and molded perfectly to my head. The room was soothingly dark. No one else was up. I could find so many more reasons to stay where I was, but because of yesterday's decently low bp reading, I was motivated to get up and go to the gym this morning to keep that bp where it is supposed to be.

All through my workout though, I kept thinking, "I really want to be back in bed."

Now I'm home, and I'm glad I got up and exercised.

Still.......

Bed.

One week! WOW!! That is crazy talk. I have to say that Paul cracked me up this week with all his "earth" moving. hahahaha! He really is in a different world there. The pictures are so unusual. Good for him.

I am counting down the days until I'm not the first one up. I have been getting up at 4:30 since we moved out of the house. It was 4:45 before that. I never thought in a million years that this would be my reality. ick

One week! It'll be here before you know it.

I had about that certain niece, and we are all very excited for her. All I can say is "blech" to the thought of my daughters going off to college and getting set up. They will be old maids who come home to live with their mama...I refuse to believe anything else.

I have to get up around that same time each day to get the girls up and ready, and I HATE it! I'm just never going to be a morning person. I wish I could be, but it ain't gonna happen. Impressive though that you got your buns up to work them at the gym. I've never been able to work out in the a.m. without feeling like I'm going to faint or puke. It would be nice to get all of that out of the way first thing in the morning though.
