Random thoughts continued from yesterday

Another field trip today, this time to a corn maze. I am very excited! I hope I don't get too lost.

Our driveway is getting replaced today. It has deteriorated this summer into an undulating puzzle made out of asphalt chunks. If we let it go another winter, we'll have a black gravel driveway.

I forgot to thaw out the roast overnight. No roast in the crockpot for us today. It'll have to be hot dogs for dinner because I'll be working all day.

Another field trip. And to a corn maze of all places. You lucky duck! Of course, I get to go on field trips with Violet anytime I want...LOL, but I don't get paid to do it or get free food for my troubles.

Our driveway is on its last legs, too. During the summer I'd drive away from our house and few minutes later I'd hear a "whap, whap, whap" sound and realize a big strip of tar was stuck to my tire which means another big strip of tar is now missing from the driveway. I ain't gonna do nothing about it though since we're moving in less than a year.

No roast, no roast, I just wanna be along today. Sorry, I could resist. Do you know what song I'm semi-quoting? My girls would be happy if they got to have hot dogs instead of a roast. I'm so sick of hot dogs though. I think I've eaten too many in this lifetime. Same goes for mac'n'cheese. Ish!

The corn maize (ha ha ha ha) sounds like a nice outing. I'm glad this is working out for you.

Too bad about the driveway. I guess that is negative about MN. However, the negatives are so outweighed by the positives.

The corn maze was AWESOME!!!

If I get my way tomorrow, I'm going back and this time with my own children. Who hopefully won't get lost like one little kid did today.

The driveway looks fabulous. I thought they were going to do it over two days, but I came home from work today to it looking totally new and finished.
