Do you think I can do it?

NaBloPoMo...National Blog Posting Month. I pledge to post 30 times (once a day) for the month of November. I like making really easy goals for myself. Anyone else game to take up the challenge of posting something every day? Click on the blue NaBloPoMo button in my sidebar.

So today. I taught a lesson on Service in church. James 1:27 "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." It was a good lesson for me to teach; not because I am always running around doing good and lifting the burdens of others, but because I need a reminder that service should be an important part of my life. It's also one of the best ways to lift myself out of despair and sadness. Blog lesson for today: serve someone in someway today.

After church Jim and I went to Paul's cross country team banquet.Paul lettered and was voted Rookie of the Year by his teammates. Thomas, on the far left, was voted Most Improved, and Josh lettered as well. They are the three freshmen on the 2008 varsity team. Congratulations, boys!

GO FOR IT! I thought the all capitals would add emphasis. I will not be following in your footsteps, however. I'm just not that motivated, and I never feel like i have anything to post about on a daily basis anyway.

P.S. Mike and I just watched "Ministry of Silly Walks".

Congrats on the letter, Paul. You are well on your way to a full alphabet! I wish you luck, Sara, on your way to daily blogging. You are my hero. Your blogging is a service to me, so you can feel good about that.
Jen, Oh, like I do. My posts are the purest drivel. But I like typing. That's why I blog.

Katie, it's called a plaque.

Froggybaby, I'm glad to know I was able to serve you in some small blogitory way!
