Just to make sure
OK OK. For those of you who question whether my earlier post qualifies as a blog entry and meets the rigid and demanding standards of the daily post for NaBloPoMo, HERE:
Yesterday I ate a BELT. That's right, a BELT. It was so good! Dave recommended the BELT, since he was the one who came up with the idea. The outside was crunchy, the inside was chewy. What is a BELT you ask? Go to Highland Grill and order one! Bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato on caraway bread. Get it? Yum! Thanks for the recommendation, Dave!
I had lunch with Marissa and Jim. Jim could only stay for a little over half the time (even so, he was there one and a half hours), but Marissa and I chatted for over two hours.
I got a little lost going there since I missed a tiny little off ramp. I wound up across the river from where I wanted to be, and there are very few bridges that cross the Mississippi, at least where I was driving. Somehow, and I'm not really sure how it happened, I managed to find my way back (after driving for what seemed like hours) to the highway with the tiny little off ramp. You know, it would have helped to have Aunt Roady with me, but Jim guards his girlfriend jealously and never lets me drive alone with her. She must be a really great girlfriend, because now Jimmy wants one.
There. I posted a real entry. What should you have learned from my experience?
1. Eat a BELT
2. Marissa and I can talk (or not talk) for hours (movie reference worth 9 points, and Mike's Jen is ineligible cuz she'll get it like right away)
3. Don't get lost in south St. Paul unless you have a girlfriend.
