This year, though, the kids haven't been too interested in helping. Katie has always been the traditionist and the avid puzzlist in the home, and she's not here! Jim and I worked on it on and off yesterday (I took a time out to go to Target and buy a bookshelf for the new sewing room).
I watched "Firefly" episodes while puzzling and ate WAY too many peanut m&ms.Speaking of Katie, she comes home for a visit on Sunday. I fully expect a battle of ownership over vehicles, since she seems to think she will be larking about, visiting friends and former flute teachers. I may have to arm wrestle her for the van once or twice.

Yes, the puzzle seems appropriate for your own castle. I'm sorry to hear that your non-Katie children have no interest in it though. You should require at least 30 minutes a day from them. Wouldn't they love you for that?
How fun for Katie to come back for a visit! I'm sure she's itchin' to see everyone and be back home for a bit. I wish we could come, but we've traveled enough lately. Although Mike is talking about a MLK trip, but my girls won't be off from school for that.
Love the castle theme! I must get my puzzle going. My kids always want to put the last piece in. I do the majority of the work and they want the satisfaction. What are we to do?
Pretty puzzle! I'm impressed with your dedication.
